Natures Valley Rest camp

Location
The Natures Valley Rest Camp is situated in the De Vasselot section of the Tsitsikamma National Park, on the banks of the Groot River, about 30 km from the town of Plettenberg Bay and about 40 km from Storms River Rest Camp. 

Adventure and activities
Natures Valley is a bird watchers and hikers paradise. There are numerous day trails to choose from such as the Salt River Mouth Trail, The Kalander Trail, and the Groot River Trail. A map, which also serves as permit, is available at Natures Valley Rest Camp Reception and the shop in the Natures Valley Village.

Canoeing from the rest camp to the Groot river mouth is absolutely the best way to unwind. Canoes are available for hire from Natures Valley Rest Camp. Guests may also enjoy swimming, sailing, dinghy and board sailing on the Groot River estuary. For those who want to relax, there are the unspoiled sands and surf of Natures Valley Beach.

Accommodation
All forest huts and ablutions have electricity as well as electric geysers in the ablutions. The forest huts are also fitted with a standard three point electric plug. The camping sites have not been electrified at this stage.

Camping
All with communal ablution, laundry and washing up facilities. A maximum of six persons, one caravan with a side tent and one vehicle, or one tent and one In the heart of South Africas famous Garden Route, a captivating world of lakes, rivers, estuaries and beaches gently unfolds against a backdrop of lush forest and lofty mountains all elements that characterise the Wilderness National Park. During spring, a carpet of flowers, further enhance the verdant beauty of this national park.
